Amid the continuing debate over soaring inflation, finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Wednesday said that the government is keeping an eye on it. Replying to the debate on the Supplementary Demands for Grants in the Rajya Sabha, Sitharaman said that inflation in India purely “extraneous” nowadays because of fuel and fertliser prices.
