A day after Uttar Pradesh Board of Madrassa Education chairman Iftikhar Ahmed Javed said a proposal for weekly off on Sunday in madrassas instead of Friday has been received, Deoband clerics on Thursday said authorities must carefully analyse the impact the proposed move, which should “lead to peace, not anger”.
