Police suspect a ‘supari’ was given to set the house of a village revenue assistant (VRA) ablaze at Venkatapur in Mancherial district on Saturday. Six persons were burnt alive in the blaze that swept through the house, made with teak wood, and reduced it to ashes. Though some suspects have been taken into custody, police said they denied their role in the fire accident.
