Facing protests against its zero-Covid policy, China eased restrictions. Its zero-Covid policy is being blamed for keeping the most populations vulnerable to SARS-CoV-2. Also, China did not allow foreign vaccines while its own jabs were considered ‘inferior’. The combination has made a scarier spectre of Covid-19 in China now.
