A major challenge to prevent liquor trafficking and accidents on highways
Valsad District Superintendent of Police newly appointed S.P. Dr. Karanraj Vaghela to visit various areas of the district as soon as he duly assumed charge Work has started. In a conversation , he said of states with liquor concessions

Apart from enforcement of liquor prohibition, NDPS is also responsible for prevention of accidents and crimes as the National Highway and State Highways pass through and the district is close to a metropolitan city like Surat. The challenge is to prevent offenses under the Act.
